home made medical tips

I have always got by with alternative medicine.. Here are a few do it yourself ideas to save you money and avoid going to your doctor..
Herpes: I get a nasty, horrible, disgusting  button on my lip every 18 months, Of course, you must be aware of it and put on a cream on your lip as soon as possible, to avoid it getting nasty. But, you can also use some homeotherapy,
my tip for the day: Natrum Muriaticum 9ch.
Normally you should take 3 granules 3 times a day. I take 5 every hour. It really helps!

Mum's got Alzimers disease!

Things that mark you for life

There are some things that mark you for life. In this blog, I will start to put in little things that seem to be important, and should last in your mind until you get old.. Let's start with Jimmy, but there are lots of things that could belong to William.. No blogs existed really at that time so will try to catch up with him and Sarah as well.
James with his blanket around him!
This photos symbolises James's life with me. I think!

Happy birthday to you!

An improvised birthday cake!

A good moment!

My Books

Sweet Child of Mine
I'm not usually very informative about  important things, ask my William who always complains but I  have written two books which have course have never been published. I did try to get them published (he says with a little voice) but here they are as proof that when you are really intent in doing something you can succeed. By the way they both need editors, and are for sale if you really push me to sell them!

Who likes to play a ukulele?

So many people like to play a ukulele, and I have found so many photos of ukulele players, so here are a few strange, or sexy photos just to illustrate what I mean...

My "home" ukulele. The expensive one!

mercredi 8 septembre 2010

Me and my Uke,

Who really knows why at my age (55)  I decided to learn to play an instrument? Why after all the choice there is in the world did I learn to play a UKULELE??

It all started back to july in Avignon 2009 when I saw a musical show there. In it one of the musiciens was playing a Sousaphone which seemed easy and intrigued me. (What is the link with a Ukulele I can hear you say!) Anyway, I decided to see how much it costs, (the Sousaphone) and finding it too expensive I decided to let my projet slide, but not really, as that is the way my mind works: keeping  things in the back of my head until something germs...

Anyway, one day, near the end of september 2009, I was amusing myself on the web when I found myself face to face with an add about ukulele's. it was a real revelation. Something struck me saying that is for you!! Was it God?? Is he a ukulele player?

(Another good point about them is there low price... My first one the Tenson was only 35€. )

So, without really thinking about it, I bought one for that price and that was when the fever began... Now I am in love with my uke.

In fact, I have two of them, one at home, the good one and the one that is in the photos in this blog, which is my takeaway one if whenever I decide to go anywhere. I have been amazed at my progress and am really progressing rapidly.

What a lovely instrument.

Oh, yes many  thanks to all those that leave partitions everywhere on the web permitting me to play my golden oldies. and another thank you to UKEHUNT which does an incredible job in keeping UKE fans up to date.

Enfin l'amour de ma vie: mon ukulele.. the one at work

William

I'm very proud of my eldest son who managed at 20 years of age to get his 'bac' and is going to a highly rated 3D school in Lyon
Here is his photo.

ce week-end

The kids were with me this week-end, strict orders from their mum to have some photos done for my darling Sarah, which of course I carried out as a well behavefd divorced father should do, and of course swimming and computer work with the kids.

Not forgetting playing my ukulele...

Some progress, but do you ever really progress with an instrument...??

Anyway photos to accompany all this included.
